Meet Dean

Dean is enjoying his retirement after a long career in corporate America with Price Waterhouse, Warner Communications, Inc. and, most recently, Epson America Inc. where he worked for 30 years. He earned his degree in Accounting from Indiana University and later received a Certificate in Executive Management from Claremont College.

Dean is enjoying volunteer opportunities serving as a Board member at Angeles Crest Christian Camp and actively supporting Tumaini International and his home church, Parkcrest Christian Church.  Dean and his wife Lois have two grown children, Claudia and Alex, and make their home in Long Beach.  Dean enjoys reading, golfing, traveling and, of course, college basketball being from Indiana!

In our favorite vacation spot in Maui with my wife Lois. Start the day with a sunrise walk in Wailea. Playing in the ocean waves. Reading and chilling in the afternoon. Sunset dinner on the beach.

Fresh seafood dinner at Mama’s Fish House in Maui

Witnessing the collaboration and support among the local church and nonprofit leaders from LBCC activities and events has been amazing! LBCC works to provide a safe space for leaders to be vulnerable and support one another.
