LBCC Grants

Long Beach Church Collective is providing grants to Christian pastors and leaders in the greater Long Beach area to support them in their pursuit of greater health, well-being, and flourishing..

Why are we doing this?

A global pandemic and rising tensions (locally, culturally, and globally), combined with the inherent complexity of vocational ministry roles, have created a burden for pastors and Christian non-profit leaders as they lead/serve their churches/non-profit organizations. Long Beach Church Collective has set out to support these leaders as they seek to better care for themselves and those they lead, serve, and care for.

What are the grants?

Long Beach Church Collective offers grants in three primary categories: Resilience/Well-Being Grants, Sabbatical Support Grants, and Care Grants.  Resilience/Well-being Grants typically help fund experiences and resources that breathe life into leaders; examples include therapy, spiritual direction, coaching, retreats, and other activities that support the spiritual, mental, emotional, relational, and/or physical health of the individual.  Sabbatical Support Grants help fund restorative practices leaders pursue while on sabbatical, as well as costs incurred by the organization during the leader’s sabbatical.  Care Grants are awarded to leaders, their families, and/or their staff members who are currently navigating stressful, overwhelming, and/or crisis-level life circumstances. All grants include application, engagement, information gathering, approval, and follow-up processes.
